CPCS Plant Operator Recruitment in Reading — Specialist Construction Agency
Hard Hat is a specialist construction recruitment agency supplying cpcs plant operators to construction sites across Reading & Berkshire. We work exclusively in construction — no white-collar generalism, no admin temps — so when you register with us you go on the books of recruiters who actually understand the trade.
CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) operators are qualified to operate specific categories of construction plant and machinery. Hard Hat supplies CPCS-carded operators across all plant categories including 360 excavators (A59), forward tipping dumpers (A09), ride-on rollers (A31), telescopic handlers (A17), loading shovels (A22), and crawler cranes (A02). Our operators are experienced on major construction and civil engineering projects, hold current CPCS cards with the correct category endorsements, and meet the stringent safety standards required by principal contractors and Tier 1 clients.
Reading is one of the Thames Valley's most active construction markets, with major commercial office developments, residential schemes, and infrastructure projects driven by its excellent transport links and proximity to London. Hard Hat supplies construction workforce to contractors across Reading, Woodley, Caversham, and the wider M4 corridor. We provide operatives for commercial fit-outs, residential new builds, data centre construction, and infrastructure schemes.
Whether you are looking for your next cpcs plant operator job in Reading, want a contractor to swap into a better-paying site, or you are a main contractor needing reliable cpcs plant operator supply, we mobilise quickly. We supply to Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors on residential, commercial, fit-out, civils and infrastructure projects.
