Hard Hat supplies CSCS-carded labourers to subcontractors, principal contractors and SME builders across London and the M25. General labourers, skilled labourers, welfare and cleaning operatives, traffic marshals and gate staff — supplied singly or as gangs with a ganger.
Labour is the requirement that changes most often and most suddenly. Someone does not turn up, a delivery lands early, a floor releases, or a client walk-round is brought forward.
No minimum order. One labourer for a single day is a normal booking here, and it carries the same CSCS verification, right-to-work check, references and insurance cover as a long-term gang.
Every labourer is checked before they reach your gate
Vetting is done before we put someone forward, not after you have inducted them. The evidence sits in our compliance pack and we will send it for your PQQ.
CSCS card verified
Checked live against the register. Green Labourer as the baseline; we will tell you honestly where someone is carded but genuinely inexperienced.
Right to work
Original documents or share code checked in person, with expiry tracked. This is the check most often done badly elsewhere and it is where supply chain liability lands.
Two site references
Called directly and asked about attendance and timekeeping first — for labour, reliability is the whole product.
Experience level recorded honestly
We separate general labourers from skilled labourers and from operatives who can be left to run a task, and we tell you which you are getting.
