Hard Hat supplies carded dumper drivers to groundworks subcontractors, civils packages and SME builders across London and the M25. Forward tipping, swivel tip, tracked and cabbed machines — we place operators whose CPCS or NPORS category we have verified against the register for the machine you actually have on site.

Dumper cover is a bottleneck job. If the driver is missing, muckaway stops, the dig stops and the gang stands.

One driver or several across a large earthworks site. There is no minimum order, and a single day's cover is vetted to exactly the same standard as an ongoing placement.

Vetting is done before we put someone forward, not after you have inducted them. The evidence sits in our compliance pack and we will send it for your PQQ.

CPCS or NPORS category verified

Checked live against the register for the correct category — forward tipping (A09) and swivel tip are different endorsements and we confirm the one your machine needs.

Machine size matched

We ask the tonnage and whether the machine is cabbed or roll-over, and place operators who have run that size rather than assuming a card covers everything.

Right to work

Originals or share code checked in person, expiry dates tracked.

References on plant discipline

We ask previous sites specifically about pre-use checks, defect reporting and behaviour around pedestrians — not just whether the operator turned up.

Site traffic awareness

Confirmed where you are running a segregated traffic management plan or shared haul routes.
