Slinger Signallers for London and the inside of the M25
London runs more tower cranes per square mile than anywhere else we work, and the lifting environment reflects it: oversailing agreements, adjacent occupied buildings, restricted swing zones and lifts that have to be planned around the neighbouring site's crane as well as your own. Slingers here need to be comfortable working to a detailed lift plan under an appointed person, and to a lifting supervisor who will stop the lift for a loose sling.
Delivery-driven lifting is the other London reality. On constrained central sites there is no laydown, so materials come in on a booked slot and go straight to the working face — meaning your slinger is on the hook continuously during a two-hour window and idle either side. If that is your pattern, tell us: we can place cover for the delivery window rather than the full shift where that suits your budget.
We also cover the out-of-hours side. Highway closures, Section 61 consents and weekend lifting over public realm are all routine in the boroughs, and we hold slingers who are already used to night lifts and to the paperwork discipline that comes with them.
Every slinger signaller is checked before they reach your gate
Vetting is done before we put someone forward, not after you have inducted them. The evidence sits in our compliance pack and we will send it for your PQQ.
