Carpenters for London and the inside of the M25
London carpentry demand is dominated by commercial fit-out and high-density residential. On the fit-out side — the office refurbishments across the City, Southwark and the West End — the work is metal stud, MF ceilings, doors and ironmongery to a tight tolerance, usually against a fixed handover with a client walking the floor. The carpenters who thrive on that work are the ones who finish clean the first time, because a snag list on floor eight is expensive to revisit.
Residential towers bring a different pattern: repetitive first and second fix across identical apartments, floor by floor, where the value is in a team that gets into a rhythm and holds it. We will keep the same faces across a tower run wherever we can, because the fourth floor should be faster than the first and it only is if the team is stable.
Formwork and shuttering carpenters are a separate London pool again, working on concrete frames, cores and podiums. If that is your requirement, say so at the point of booking — a fit-out joiner and a formwork carpenter are not interchangeable, and sending one to the other's job wastes everybody's week.
Every carpenter is checked before they reach your gate
Vetting is done before we put someone forward, not after you have inducted them. The evidence sits in our compliance pack and we will send it for your PQQ.
CSCS card verified
Checked live against the register — Blue Skilled Worker as the baseline, Gold for advanced craft or supervisory placements.
NVQ Level 2/3 Site Carpentry or Bench Joinery
We confirm the qualification behind the card and record which pathway — the two produce very different carpenters.
Stage matched to your programme
We separate 1st fix, 2nd fix, formwork and finishing joinery on our records and place against the stage you name.
Right to work
Originals or share code checked in person, with expiry tracking.
